Torch has elected a new committee.

At the AGM on 8 September 2002, Torch elected its committee under a new structure.

James Davenport, Chairman of Torch, commented to gayconservatives.com:

'Our new committee structure will allow us to better deliver on the three aspects of our work - advising the Conservative Party, working with the gay community to secure the election of the next Conservative government, and delivering better contact and events for members.

'I am glad to say that the new Officers are talented, experienced people who all have expertise in their field. I believe that Torch is now in a better position than ever before to deliver on its aims and values.'
