John Bowis OBE MEP

President of Gay Conservatives John Bowis has been re-elected to the European Parliament.

Alongside a raft of successes for pro-gay Conservative candidates across the country, Mr Bowis won in London.

The Conservative Party came top of the poll in London, defeating the Labour Party and pushing them into second place in the capital. The Liberal Democrats had a poor showing in contrast.
