| Andy
Jennings has announced he is stepping down as Chairman
of the Torche,
following his recent appointment as Finance Director
of an international events management company.
Speaking
to gayconservatives.com, Andy Jennings said:
"Having
been appointed to a senior position in business,
I no longer have the opportunity to pursue some
of the voluntary activities that I was previously
able to. Although it is with some reluctance that
I step down as Chairman, I look forward to the
challenges of my future career.
"I
would like to wish my successor and the Torche
committee all the best in building on the successes
that we have had over the past year".
James
Davenport, Deputy Chairman of Torche, responded
to Mr Jennings statement:
